The San Francisco Chronicle had the usual article about the inaugural speech this morning, and they ended it with a lovely snippet about Obama taking his daughters to see the Lincoln Memorial. Malia looked at the Second Inaugural plaque and asked, would her dad have to do one of those? On being told yes, she said, "First African American President. Better be good."
I don't think we need to worry about Obama losing his sense of proportion; those girls will cut him right down.
I am so excited right now! tomorrow will be an amazing day in our history, to quote Michael Jackson, "Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it, YEAH!". It's electric! Obama 4 life!
